All DeFelsko PosiTector Inspection Kits contain 1 PosiTector gage body (Standard or Advanced) and 3 probes coating thickness (Ferrous Only or Combination Ferrous Non-Ferrous), environmental dew point and surface profile, as well as accessories in a convenient hard shell carrying case.
The PosiTector Inspection Kitis available with your choice of Standard or Advanced Gage. Each PosiTector body accepts the PosiTector 6000, DPM, and SPG probes included in the kit easily converting from a coating thickness gauge to a dew point meter or surface profile gauge. Select from 12 pre-configured kits or build your own, contact us for details.

Coating Thickness with Standard models
- Storage of 1000 readings per probe - stored readings can be viewed or downloaded
Environmental Monitoring with Standard models
- Storage of 2,500 datasets (RH, Ta, Ts, Td, Ts-Td). Stored readings can be viewed or downloaded.
- Auto Log Mode runs unattended on batteries for up to 50 hours or continuously via USB
Surface Profile with Standard models
- Storage of 1000 readings per probe - stored readings can be viewed or downloaded

Each Advanced Kit contains the PosiTector Advanced gage body and 3 probes coating thickness, environmental and surface profile.

Coating Thickness with Advanced models

- NEW Enhanced Auto Log mode turns the gage off between readings for up to 8 months of battery life. Each reading can be uploaded to PosiSoft.net or an FTP server using WiFi. Automatically group readings into batches at daily, weekly, or monthly intervals

- Wet bulb temperature can be displayed and recorded

DeFelsko Positector DPM Dew Point Meters for Environmental Monitoring
- Depending on the model selected, PosiTector DPM Dew Point Meters measure and record climatic conditions including: relative humidity (%RH), air temperature, surface temperature, dew point temperature, the difference between surface and dew point temperatures (Delta), wind speed, and wet bulb temperature.
- Surface Profile Gages use a digital depth micrometer fitted with a fine pointed probe to measure and record peak-to-valley surface profile heights in preparation for the application of coatings.
